JUSTICE COMES IN PINK

ATTORNEY AT LAW

Having been raised in Palestine Texas, I have a genuine love for our small town, its character and history, and the people that, like me, call it home. I am a graduate of Westwood High School and Trinity Valley Community College. I furthered my education at Sam Houston State University where I graduated cum laude with a Bachelors in Business Administration. I attended South Texas College of Law Houston and graduated with Honors with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence.

After passing the State of Texas Bar Exam I joined a firm in Conroe, Texas, where I focused my experience on the practice of family law. Though satisfied with practicing in Conroe, I knew that Palestine was in desperate need of attorneys, especially strong female attorneys, and so I opened my Palestine practice in 2020.

My family and I moved to Huntsville at the end of 2021 and I have now expanded my practice into Huntsville as of January, 2022 with a focus on family law.

EXPERIENCE

I was fortunate to have a career prior to my legal education. While that career focused primarily in office management, I had multiple positions all over the state of Texas. I was licensed in Property/ Casualty, Health/ Life insurance and served as the document control manager for the General Contractor that built the ExxonMobil campus in Spring, Texas, which, at the time it was being built, was one of the top three largest construction sites in the United States.

However, a seed of interest in law had been planted years ago when I fought my own child custody case alone, without an attorney, and that seed grew into a passion for serving as an advocate for those facing legal troubles. With the encouragement of a local judge, I attended law school so that I could fulfill my dream of becoming a licensed attorney. Now that my dream has become my reality, I am back in Palestine to serve the community I love.
